Fashion Show Producer
I have always loved Fashion, even as a small child all my attention was directed towards clothing, shopping and fashion magazines.I attended College with the intention of a Business and Marketing degree while working at Nordstrom part-time.
After a few years of retail I trained to be a Freelance Fashion Show Coordinator for Nordstrom. I went on to work as a Booking Agent at a Seattle Modeling Agency for 3 years, before returning to Nordstrom with the position of Northwest Fashion Coordinator in Seattle. Wendy produced the largest shows in the company. Working with with many designers including Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Badgley Mischka and also producing the Seattle Art Museum Designer show for 10 years, who's lineup included Chanel, YSL, Dior, Lacroix, Marc Jacobs to name a few, along with many other American, French and Italian designers.
After years of travel and producing shows she retired from Nordstrom to raise her 2 children while continuing to Produce shows independantly in Seattle. She started Wendy Wood Productions. She has produced many projects, which include the Fashion First Shows, Seattle only Green Fashion Week, The Seattle Sounders show and the Arts Institute Fashion shows.Wendy Wood Fashion
